Jean Castel is a French artist based in Los Angeles, CA. At age 5, Castel fell in love with music when he began violin training, and later mastering guitar. Whilst attending the National Conservatory in Bordeaux he continued to develop his musical signature. It was here that he found his passion for songwriting and production, leading him to work with artists such as Futuristic and Sean Brown. Soon after, Castel received a vocal scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music, in Boston, where he honed his skills and further expanded his catalog. Now in Los Angeles, Castel has teamed up with some of the best in the industry (amongst those, Multi-Grammy Award Winner, Mark ‘Spike’ Stent) as well as being a member of INFRARED, an established writing-production group who has collaborated with the likes of Charlotte Lawrence, Corey Harper, Hey Violet, and Malia Civetz. Jean’s distinctive sound has been greatly influenced by some of his musical role models such as The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and Pharrell Williams. Jean Castel’s first E.P., “Orange & Yellow”, will be released Winter 2018.
